The Story of "The Smurfs" :

Initially, the Smurf serene and peaceful life in their beloved village. No entrants who had entered the village until Gargamel Smurf (Hank Azaria) and the cat managed to find this hidden village. Frightened, the Smurfs were trying to escape and find a safe hiding place.

In a panic Clumsy Smurf (Anton Yelchin) into a small cave which is actually forbidden cave. Unfortunately, some other Smurf Clumsy Smurf was even followed into the cave. Previous Papa Smurf (Jonathan Winters) had warned that no Smurf who entered this forbidden cave.

Apparently, this cave is a portal that brought the Smurfs are getting into another world. Unwittingly, the Smurf is thrown into New York and could not find a way to go home. Luckily, the Smurfs are getting refuge in a house mate Patrick Winslow (Neil Patrick Harris) and Grace (Jayma Mays). Taking refuge, the Smurfs are trying to find a way to return to their villages before Gargamel managed to find them.
